The aim is to provide an authentic and hassle-free exploration of famous eateries, stunning sights, and hidden gems of Dharamshala — all through the lens of a local.

Plan Outline

Day 1: Arrival in Dharamshala – Culture, Colour & Charm

Morning: Make your way to the serene Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival at the Riverside Retreat, enjoy a welcome drink and breakfast.

Sightseeing Highlights:

•  Visit the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium (HPCA).
•  Pay your respects at the Dalai Lama Temple (Tsuglagkhang Complex).
•  Browse the vibrant McLeod Ganj Market for Tibetan crafts & souvenirs.
•  Experience the serene Bhagsunag Temple and enjoy a dip at Bhagsu Waterfall.

Evening: Return to the retreat for a hearty dinner featuring local Himachali flavours.

Day 2: Nature, Tea & Tranquility

Morning: Wake up to riverside peace with an optional yoga or meditation session, followed by a wholesome riverside breakfast.

Sightseeing Highlights:

•  Embark on a scenic, guided hike to Naguni Waterfall, soaking in the beauty of untouched nature.
• Visit Gyuto Monastery, a tranquil centre of Tibetan culture.
• Explore Chinmaya Tapovan Trust — a spiritual center amidst pine forests.
• Marvel at the Tibetan craftsmanship and artistry of Norbulingka Institute.
• Stroll through the picturesque tea estates and learn about tea cultivation at Kangra Tea Gardens.

Evening: The hosts at Dharamshala Retreat bid guests a heartfelt farewell as they journey back to their destination.

• Accommodation on a double-sharing basis at the Retreat.
• Meals as per the itinerary:

• Guided hikes and sightseeing tour on a two-wheeler by a local guide.
• Pick-up and drop-off from Dharamshala  (Maximus Mall) via two-wheeler.

Optional Add-Ons (at Additional Cost)

• Solo Time Setup: Private riverside tea or coffee experience.
• Adventure Activities: Paragliding or additional treks (other than the one included).
• Wellness Spa: Relaxing massage therapy at a partnered wellness centre (by prior appointment only).
